Commercial Car
Truck and Van Insurance
Trucks and vans have different characteristics, for this reason there are several coverages.
Truck Insurance
PRIMARY LIABILITY INSURANCE
Trucking companies are required by law to purchase automobile or truck liability insurance. This insurance protects you from damage or injury to others as a result of trucking accidents, this coverage is mandated by both state and federal agencies, and a proof form (BMC-91 or BMC-91X) must be sent to them.
PHYSICAL DAMAGE
Physical damage insurance protects against loss or damage to your covered vehicle due to an accident with another car or object.
MOTOR TRUCK CARGO
It is insurance designed to cover the carrier's liability for destruction, damage, or other loss of the goods being transported.

BOBTAIL & NON TRUCKING LIABILITY
BOBTAIL LIABILITY
Provides liability coverage when driving your truck without the trailer, regardless of whether or not you are under dispatch.
NON TRUCKING LIABILITY
It is the insurance coverage for when you use your truck for NON COMMERCIAL purposes. NTL provides liability coverage for property damage or bodily injury to others. Any personal use between Your return and the following shipping points will be covered under NTL.
OCCUPATIONAL ACCIDENT COVERAGE
Occupational Accident Coverage can provide coverage for accidental death and dismemberment, medical expenses, and disability in addition to other types of coverages available.
INTERCHANGE TRAILER INSURANCE
This provides Physical Damage insurance for trailers that are being pulled under a trailer exchange agreement. This is essentially Physical Damage insurance for trailers that you do not own. This insurance protects you if the trailer is damaged by collision, fire, theft, explosion, or vandalism.
Who needs trailer exchange insurance?
If you have a trailer exchange agreement, you need trailer exchange insurance to protect you while possessing a container or trailer that is not yours. A trailer swap agreement is a contract that arranges to transfer a trailer from one trucker to another to complete a shipment. Typically, the trucker in possession of the trailer is responsible for paying for any damage that occurs while in control of the trailer.
